Earlier this month, a few Xbox Live users reported that their account information was stolen after signing into an unofficial stat tracking website called getreqt.com. The site has since been closed down. It is absolutely disgusting that some people are awful enough to take advantage of Halo players like that. So, to put your security fears to rest, I will thoroughly explain (to the best of my ability) why Reclaimer Stats also requires you to sign in to your Microsoft Account. Some stats on Waypoint require you to sign in in order to view them, and I could not magically work around that as a developer.

If you’re a speedrunner, you’re probably wondering why Halo 5 doesn’t seem to support speed running in game. None of those cool par time and score features that we loved in MCC. Well, it just so happens that Reclaimer Stats version 1.8.0 will provide the speedrunning functionality that the game itself lacks.
Good afternoon or morning or whatever time of day it is, everyone! I’ve been very busy working on version 1.8.0. So busy, that I’ve determined that the sheer amount of new content in this update makes beta testing necessary. In other words, you can help me develop Reclaimer Stats by joining the open beta for version 1.8.0! You’ll get early access to new features and more! (I might even have some cake…)
Things have been a little quiet lately, I know. The holidays have been keeping me rather busy lately. Anyway, now that all of that holiday drama has ended, I’ve resumed working on Reclaimer Stats, and a few other things. The next update will be a big one. Count on it.
After long hours of work, I’m proud to announce that the latest version of Reclaimer Stats is ready for launch! I mentioned before that a complete overhaul of Halo 5 arena stats was in the works. Well, this is it! It now harnesses the power of the Halo API, complete with twice the amount of stats. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed working on it.
Changelog:
- Fixed a bug where Halo Waypoint profile stats wouldn’t track post count
- Fixed a few assorted fatal crashes
- Revamped Halo 5 arena stats
- Brought back Halo 5 playlist stats
- Added Halo 5 achievement stats
- Added Halo Reach recent games
- Made a few tweaks to that “Message of the Day” feature
- Reduced the stats text size. (No longer giant, looks a lot nicer)
If you were expecting that arena overhaul, campaign stats, or achievements, you will be disappointed. I had to publish this version earlier than I wanted to because of the whole Halo 5 recent games crash. It turns out that it was caused by Forge games. Anyway, that’s taken care of now.
Changelog
- Fixed a fatal crash for Halo 5 recent games
- Fixed a bug where Halo 5 recent game dates were in the wrong timezone (for real this time)
- Fixed a handful of other fatal crashed
- Temporarily removed Arena playlist stats until I can figure out what the deal is
- Changed the backend for Halo 5 recent games
As you can see, this is mainly a bug fixing update. Remember to report those crashes!
Multiple users (including me) have noticed that there are some pretty striking issues with Halo 5 arena stats. Or, to be specific, the playlist stats are gone. When I say gone, I quite literally gone. Anyway, I realized that I might as well rewrite my implementation for those stats to harness the power of the Halo API. So, in the next update, expect some seriously revamped arena stats.
To put this into perspective, you’ll be able to see how many ground pound kills you have. You’ll be able to filter stats by map, gametype, and playlist. And maybe, if the demand exists, I’ll squeeze achievements into the update. But campaign is once again gonna be bumped down on the priority list, because let’s be honest: this is a lot of work.
Also, happy holidays!
It’s official: the next update for Reclaimer Stats will feature detailed Halo 5 campaign stats and achievements, something that has been sorely absent since the game launched a month ago. Continue reading
I’m gonna get straight to the point. Reclaimer Stats needed an official site. Somewhere where all the info was available in one place. Long time users of the app will know that I use a “message of the day” thing to communicate with everyone, but that has its limitations. So, in order to solve those limitations, I made this. Reclaimer Stats version 1.7.6 launches this afternoon. The app should have an update available before the end of the day.
Changelog:
- Added weapon stats for Halo 5
- Added the ability to see players’ spartan company
- Made Halo 5 spartan images larger
- Fixed a bug where some Warzone stats weren’t displaying correctly
- Fixed a bug where Halo 5 recent game dates weren’t in the right timezone and therefore sometimes inaccurate
Enjoy, and as always, report any crashes 😀
